It was a great competition for our Academy once again...the results clearly showing we are by far the best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school in South Africa.
Team Points are awarded as follows: 9 points for GOLD, 3 points SILVER, 1 point for a BRONZE. Out of a total of 10 divisions Team Renzo Gracie took home 6 GOLD MEDALS, 7 SILVER MEDALS & 8 BRONZE MEDALS. We also saw an epic battle between Wesley George (RGA) & Dave Levy (CG) in the mens absolute NOGI challenge. Wesley returned home a few days before the competlition proudly carrying a Bronze medal (and an injured knee) from the World Professional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu championships in Abu-Dhabi - to defeat his long time rival Dave Levey from PE.
