Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full contact combat sport that allows a wide variety of fighting techniques and skills, from a mixture of martial arts traditions and non-traditions, to be used in competitions. The rules allow the use of striking and grappling techniques, both while standing and on the ground.

Mixed martial arts (MMA) is an intense and evolving combat sport in which competitors use different forms of fighting that include jiu-jitsu, judo, karate, boxing, kickboxing, wrestling and others to their strategic and tactical advantage in a supervised match.

Igor was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil and is the son of legendary Rolls Gracie. Igor is a Black Belt from Barra Gracie and a Pan American and Mundials medalist as well as a two-time state champion in Brasilian Jiu-Jitsu. Igor has fought twice in the Ring of Combat. Igor lives, trains and works at the Renzo Gracie Academy in New York City.
